What a combo! On Tuesdays and Sundays every week, you can enjoy a yoga class while drinking a beer (before, during or after) in the Beer Garden at Big Top Brewing Company. If you choose to drink your beverage during class, be prepared to raise your beer to the sky in Triangle Pose or maybe take a sip as you balance in Dancer Pose.
This class is approachable for ALL levels and anyone 21+ is welcome! Admission is $10 and includes the yoga class + one beer. If you’re not a beer drinker, additional beverages such as wine and ciders are available for a $1 upcharge. Bring your own mat & any props you desire.

Sarasota Medieval Fair

Visit the 18th Annual Sarasota Medieval Fair any weekend in November to live the majesty and madness of knights, jesters, minstrels, acrobatics, wenches, and sword swingers! This year’s theme is Vikings vs. English, Battle of Assandum, 1016 AD and activities include full contact jousting, human combat chest tournaments, musical displays with bagpipes and drums, demonstrations of fighting practices from historic western Europe and more. Le Marche Parisian-Inspired Marketplace
November 5th, 10am-5pm - Five Points Park
Head downtown Sarasota for this free admission, French style marketplace on the first Saturday of November for refreshments, amazing creations and beautiful music by French singer Michelet Innocent. With one-of-a-kind pieces, clothing and accessories featuring vintage photographs, re-purposed furniture and home accessories and more, this market is a vintage collector’s paradise!
Sarasota Veteran’s Day Parade
November 11th, 10am - Main Street Downtown Sarasota
Honor our military veterans with a traditional parade downtown Sarasota! The parade begins at 10am at Main Street & Osprey Avenue and will move east to west on Main Street, ending at Gulfstream Avenue.
The festivities will culminate with an 11 a.m. ceremony at Chaplain J.D. Hamel Park at the corner of Gulfstream Avenue and Main Street, recognizing the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month when the armistice was signed in 1918, ending World War I.
The Siesta Key Crystal Classic International Sand Sculpting Festival
November 11th - 14th - Siesta Beach
At the annual Siesta Key Crystal Classic, 24 sand artists will be competing in a Master Sand Sculpting competition! Stop by Siesta Beach to view the amazing creations and vote for your favorite (with wooden tokens available for purchase) until Monday at 5pm to determine the People’s Choice Award.
This sand village will have 81 vendors and 6 food trailers open to the public and includes attractions for everyone including sand sculpting lessons, barefoot beach bar party tent, live bands, amateur sand sculpting competition, and more.
Vets, Pets & Jets 5K & Fun Run
November 12th, 7am - Sarasota Bradenton International Airport (SRQ)
This one-time-only event is like no other! Sign up for this 5k and fun run and you’ll be running along an active taxiway on the north airfield of SRQ. Bring the whole family, including four-legged members of course, for the run, food, music, vendors, activities and prizes! There will also be a special salute to our military service members.
Gates open at 7am, 5K is at 8am, and Fun Run/Walk is at 9am with awards, food, beverages, and activities afterwards.

Santa’s Grand Arrival Parade & Fireworks Spectacular
November 12th, 6pm-9pm - The Mall at UTC
Santa’s coming to town! Head to The Mall at UTC to kick off the holidays in grand style with this special holiday parade welcoming Santa to the mall. The parade will take place throughout the heart of the UTC district along Cattleman Road and will include lighted floats, live bands, dance troops, holiday characters and more.
Following the parade will be the lighting of the UTC districts and a spectacular fireworks show and afterparty from 8pm to 9pm.
Suncoast's Largest Food Truck Festival 2.0
November 12th & 13th, 2pm-9pm - The Mall at UTC
The Suncoast Largest Food Truck Festival is back for Santa’s Grand Arrival Parade (and the next day too)! Bring the family to parking lot 4 at The Mall at UTC for 60+ food trucks each day of the festival.
Cortez Stone Crab & Music Festival
November 12th & 13th, 10am-6pm - Swordfish Grill & Tiki Bar
If you’re a seafood fanatic, the 10th Annual Cortez Stone Crab & Music Festival at Swordfish Grill & Tiki Bar is the place for you! At the local bar and grill in Cortez Village, there will be plenty of fresh, local seafood, ice cold beverages, music acts on three different stages, a Kid’s Zone and you guessed it - lots of stone crab.
Parking will be available at the FISH Preserve for $5 per car, guests are advised to enter at 116th Street.
Sarasota Fall Fine Art Festival
November 19th & 20th, 10am-5pm - JD Hamel Park
Browse original and creative handmade arts and fine crafts for your home or office at the Sarasota Fall Fine Art Festival in JD Hamel Park at Gulfstream and Main Street! Produced by Paragon Festivals and hosted by the Downtown Sarasota Enrichment Association, this festival holds numerous pieces of artwork brought to Sarasota by local, regional and national artisans. Get in touch with your creative side at this free event this November!
Florida Turkey Trot
November 24th (Thanksgiving Day), 8am - Nathan Benderson Park
Kick off your Thanksgiving morning with a little spring in your step! The 5th Annual Florida Turkey Trot will be held at Nathan Benderson Park and all participants will receive a finisher’s medal, race shirt, food and drinks at the after party and a tasty treat to commence their Thanksgiving feast. Proceeds from the race will benefit the Big Bill Foundation and Nathan Benderson Park Conservancy.
